Our occupational therapists conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the care and support you need. A detailed report can be provided if required.

Assistive Technology Prescription and Applications

Our therapists assess and prescribe assistive technologies, such as manual and powered wheelchairs and mobility scooters, to support your daily activities.

Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation Reports

Our therapists evaluate your need for Specialist Disability Accommodation or Supported Independent Living and can provide reports for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding.

Group Therapy

We offer group sessions led by our occupational therapists and allied health assistants, focusing on goals such as handwriting, social skills, and life skills.

Home Modifications

We offer minor modifications, including ramps, grab rails, and step adjustments to enhance safety and accessibility in your home.

Pressure Injury Prevention

We assess your risk of developing pressure injuries and provide recommendations to mitigate this risk. We can also prescribe assistive devices, like pressure cushions.

Individual Therapy

Our occupational therapists and allied health assistants deliver tailored sessions focused on your personal goals, including emotional regulation, falls prevention, and energy conservation.

Occupational Therapy Reports

Our therapists assist with comprehensive reports for various parties, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Funding Options at Shorachi Health Group

We offer a variety of funding options to ensure accessible therapy for all. Our services are available to private clients, through NDIS plans (including self-managed), aged care packages, and Medicare. We’re here to help you navigate these options for your specific needs.

At Shorachi Health Group, we aim to be transparent about our fees and charges from the very beginning, ensuring you always know what to expect.

Hourly Rates

We charge for all our clinicians at the NDIS gazetted rate. The hourly rates are:

Occupational Therapy: $193.99
Exercise Physiology: $166.99 (inc GST)
Physiotherapy:
  • $193.99 (in NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT)
  • $224.62 (in WA, SA, TAS and NT)
Speech Pathology: $193.99
Psychology:
  • $222.99 (in NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT)
  • $244.22 (in WA, SA, TAS and NT)
Positive Behaviour Support:
  • Specialist Behavioural Intervention Support: $222.99 (in NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT) and $244.22 (in WA, SA, TAS and NT)
  • Behaviour Management Plan: $222.99 (in NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT) and $244.22 (in WA, SA, TAS and NT)
Employment-related Assessment and Counselling: $193.99
School Leaver Employment Support: $158.00

Travel Costs

We are predominantly a mobile service, with a large network of clinicians attending people’s homes to deliver services. We also have clinics in each state. This means that you can choose whether to attend one of our local clinics, or have our clinician come to your home.

If you choose to attend one of our clinics, there will be no travel cost charged to you.
If you choose to attend one of our clinics, there will be no travel cost charged to you.
  • Match you to a local clinician, with appropriate skills and experience for your condition, who will charge for travel in line with the MMM zone you are based in
  • Discuss the travel charges with you and outline them in your Service Agreement
  • Split travel costs where we can, by providing therapy to other people who live in the same area as you either before or after your therapy session
  • Talk to you about how you can save on travel costs and answer any other questions you may have
